Due to an incredible workload and family commitments, I have resigned from the ITA Committee effective today 2nd April 2006, so that I can concentrate on my ever growing businesses - TAZ Publicity & Promotions and BAR Promotions, the various projects they involve, and my family.

It’s been a fabulous 3 years as the ITA Publicist, and the door is not fully closed, far from it… I’m still here, willing and able to help promote your shows, auditions, events — through TAZ Publicity & Promotions —www.tazpublicity.com — hope you all keep in touch! Don’t forget you already have an awesome tool with Theatre Australia—www.theatre.asn.au—think of me as a bonus.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years, the wonderful emails of thanks, suggestions and feedback. I would also like to thank all those people and clubs who have helped me spread the word about our various events out to their friends, members and patrons. I have met some pretty fabulous people from various clubs and all walks of life during my time on the committee.

Don't forget that if you would like to be kept up to date on What's On in Theatre and Music in WA both metro and regional, both community and professional then email me to freely subscribe to MMOA - Mad Melz Out & About.

See you at DramaFest at Marloo—September 29, 30 Oct 1, 2

Cheers - only for now...

Hard Choice

This must have been a hard choice for you Mel. You have done fantastic work and are one dedicated publicist. Australian Theatre could do with more of you....

Thank You

Thank you Jeff, yes it was a very difficult decision to make. Publicity and promotions is what I'm all about, and have worked very hard for the ITA - tough to let go of something that you've worked so hard towards its growth and development. For the last 3 years the ITA has totally consumed my every day.

I'm receiving a lot of lovely emails at the moment tho ;-)

To be Consumed

Well, there are far worse things to be consumed by. ;-) I am sure I speak for many others when I says thank you. You are a credit to the industry we all love.
