Vacancy for a Front of Hopuse person Adelaide Fringe 2009

Wanted: Front of House Manager - Publicity/Marketing Assistant Spotlight Theatre Company are seeking a Front of House Manager - Publicity/Marketing Assistant for their 2009 Fringe Production, Boiled Cabbage. The Production is a Co-op and the only remuneration will be from profit share however you will get a Fringe Artist Pass as a member of the team. Given our results in 2008 there is reasonable likelihood of the company making a profit. The person will 1/ Assist with preparation and distribution of publicity material (ideas welcome). 2/ Be prepared to assist with handling phone calls and messages regarding publicity matters 3/ Take phone bookings for the show, particularly group bookings from schools and other community groups. 4/ Attend at the venue every performance and operate box office/front of house. Spotlight Theatre is a rising star in the Adelaide Theatre world and is looking for someone who might like to develop a long term relationship with us. We want an enthusiastic people person willing to commit for our season. They must have some experience of money handling and not be afraid to use their own initiative. We are looking for someone who will be an effective and creative member of the team. The season runs from a week before the fringe and continues for the first two weeks.
