Any makeup artists?

Each month, a new makeup artist comes to this site and posts a wanted ad. I'm just curious of two things: One, are you posting wanted ads and never returning again - or do you actually attract attention and/or work?: Two, does anyone involved in makeup artistry want to write a FAQ to be added to this site, so that new makeup artists can read it and be informed about the local Australian makeup industry (referring here to involvement in theatre and film)? I'd write an FAQ myself, but I don't know anything about makeup and would be wildly wrong in any advice given... If anyone is keen to write it, please do, because I know it would be of benefit. In the meantime, perhaps we should start a discussion about how to improve things here for those involved in makeup. Should we be doing anything specific to help advise those artists, or point them in the right direction? I rarely see any threads about makeup on this site, usually only wanted ads. Should we be discussing makeup itself, and do we take the artform for granted? Please, add your thoughts...
