FREE SCRIPT REVIEW "Ask Dad" (1929) by Joseph Jackson (1894-1932)

One act
Two Male One Female
Farce
You won't find a text script for this piece easily, but I am posting as information. The story could be retold in contemporary setting using email instead of a typewriter and the love-struck stripling could sprout lines from a top ten song.
The story involves a father and son in an executive office. The father has a youngish secretary with whom the son is smitten, but she has promised herself to another, eventually revealed as the father. Seems like a good basis for an improvisation. I felt the acting was underwhelming and the script predictable, but it might inspire some.
