Private singing lessons are offered with professional singing teacher Alex Feifers. Alex has a Bachelor of Music from QUT and a Graduate Certificate in Music Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and is currently a Voice Specialist at Harvest Rain Theatre Company, Theatre and Dance and Vocal Director of the Youth Performing Arts Company (YPAC). She is also a professional Music Theatre performer and has been featured in many musicals such as Cats, Best of Broadway and Beyond, Children of Eden, Joseph and His Amazing Technicoloured Dream Coat, Forbidden Broadway, Fiddler on the Roof, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Avenue Q, winning two Del’Arte Chart awards: one for her impersonation of Liza Minelli in Forbidden Broadway and another as Yente the Matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof . She was also a Matilda Award Nominee for Best Supporting Actress in Fiddler on the Roof. Alex’s classes are perfect for students wanting to learn contemporary-style vocals or Music Theatre vocals and are also useful for people who are looking for a last minute lesson before an audition, help with audition repertoire or a quick technique tutorial for vocal health and stamina.
