KIDS ON CAMERA HOLIDAY WORKSHOP is a fun and exciting week that is perfect for kids who love being in front of the camera and those that just love to act. Run by professional actress and teacher Rio Holland, kids will have the opportunity to express themselves on camera – inventing their own stories, re-creating their favourite films and TV shows and playing around with character and text. They will also learn acting for camera techniques, auditioning for ads, commercials and TV. She started out as a professional dancer and studied at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence, graduating with a Diploma in Dance. Rio then changed her passion to acting and began her training at The Actors Conservatory in Brisbane. After graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen Acting, she went on to perform in numerous stage shows, films and television. A role with shake & stir theatre company lead Rio down the path of teaching drama to primary school students between the ages of four and twelve. Since then, Rio has taught a wide variety of ages acting for stage and screen with The Actors Conservatory, The Film & Television Studio International and the Artist Development Program at Starlight Theatre Company. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
