Want a comprehensive professional development day that will teach you everything you need to know about the Commedia dell’Arte?
Take an in-depth look at Commedia dell’Arte! This master class exposes myths and misconceptions, and breaks down the art form in a fun and interactive manner so you will walk away feeling confident to teach the art form as it was intended!
Ideal for drama & Italian language teachers / lecturers.
PD certificates & teacher’s notes included.

You will learn stock characters, postures and walks of all the archetypes plus interactions, mask technique, stage-fighting, slapstick, the art of language and gesture plus a break down of Commedia’s rich history full of many myths and clichés and how the Commedia dell’Arte relates to and positions itself in festivals, current trends and more! All materials provided!
Should be of a reasonable fitness as you’ll be active most of the day!
Workshops run four times per year during school holidays.
Cost: $95 p/p
Location: All workshops are held in the Adelaide CBD.
