The Curtin University Third Year Film ‘Heart Donor’ is looking for people to fill these roles. Synopsis: Dave is a young waverer and luckless in love. One day, his luck changes when he stumbles across the girl of his dreams and his heart is lost to her…literally. Follow Dave on his desperate attempts to retrieve his most vital organ. • Dave: 18- 30 (Lead) A likeable guy who is led by his heart, he is indecisive yet endearingly hopeless. • Alice: 18-30 (Lead) A sweet, gentle girl who has been unlucky in love. She is independent yet looking for the right guy. • Jake: 22-35 A hard bitten guy who has learnt from experience not to be overwhelmed by emotion. • Mystery girl: 18-25 A non speaking role but she is very attractive and confident. • Receptionist: 18-40 Professional, well spoken. ‘Receptionist’ stereotype. • Waitress: 18-25 Grounded yet sensitive to others feelings. Only has one line. • Little boy: 6-8 Bratty. One line only. • Little girl: 6-8 Teary. One line only. • Woman: 18-30 Melodramatic, she is breaking up with her boyfriend. • Man: 18-30 Melodramatic and angry, he is breaking up with his girlfriend. • Bus Driver: 30-60 Cheerful, content, grounded. Also if anyone has a Dog: Male, small and cute. Able to wee on a tree, Let us know. Auditions are on Wednesday 15th June. At Curtin University- Kent St, Bentley.
