CASTING CALL SHORT FILM

We are making a Curtin University short film under the genre of horror and black comedy. It follows Queen Bee Scarlett and her drone Casey along with their partners, the equally as popular Nate and Charles as they prepare for “the Halloween party of the Century”. However things take an unexpected turn as they encounter a group of Goths and a Ouija board. What starts as an almost Breakfast Club moment ends with a twist you’ll never see coming. We are looking for actors to play the following roles: Scarlett (main actor) Preferably brunette Popular, very bitchy, loves to be the centre of attention Girlfriend of Nate The cause of constant drama Nate Preferably brunette Also popular, effortlessly cool Kindhearted, intelligent, not a fan of drama Boyfriend of Scarlett Best mates with Charles Charles Preferably blonde hair Constantly stoned, carefree, a bit of an airhead A lot of fun Best mates with Nate Boyfriend of Casey Casey Preferably red or blonde hair Cute, fun, ditzy Looks up to best friend Scarlett Girlfriend of Charles Main Goth Preferably dark hair with light skin Loudly spoken, powerful presence Hates Scarlett with a passion The leader of all other Goths *Extras will also be needed for party scene, along with seven Goths (whom don't have lines) as well as a male party-goer who has four lines and a female party-goer who has two lines. Unfortunately as it is a very low budget film we cannot pay you, however everyone will receive a copy of the DVD to include as part of their portfolio, as well as a great experience!
