$TIMULU$ PACKAGE - THE MUSICAL! A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY BY CAYDEN RICHARDS Presented by The Launceston Players, at The Earl Arts Centre, 16th - 20th August 2011. This full scale musical production is full of fun characters,catchy tunes, political wit, plot twists galore, and out and out farsical humour. '$timulu$ Package - The Musical!', is the brain child of local talent Cayden Richards, and we are very excited to be a part of this world premiere event, that will have you rolling with laughter...and that's the bottom line! Our story is set in the far away land of Oz. A long, long, long time ago...2008 to be exact! A time when getting a housing loan was easier than joining Blockbuster video! A time when the world was thrown into chaos by The Global Financial Crisis. But from out of the darkness came a light of hope...and it was called "the stimulus package!". The most exciting, miraculous event of the millienium...well, that's how the residents of the derelict, Shady Towers Residential Village feel about it! This is their chance to shine! They plan to use their stimulus to stage a show they've written, and make their dreams come true. So come join them, as they work together to make it to "Spender-Link", and see for yourself how with just a little bit of stimulus, dreams can come true!
