Last year Cayden Richards approached The Launceston Players about staging his own original musical comedy. It's a full scale musical show about an issue that has effected us all - The Global Financial Crisis. The Launceston Players are now very proud to announce that they will present "Stimulus Package - The Musical!" at The Earl Arts Centre, August 16th - 20th, 2011. The show has some dark and serious themes; "It makes a bold statement about our post modern society; greed, consumerism, climate change, and the struggle of the underprivelliged to break the cycle of crime, gambling, violence and drugs...all done in a colourful, Broadway style, with infectious tunes, and loads of choreography! 'Stimulus Package', is a good old fashioned entertaining show". The story focuses on the lives of five characters down on their luck since the G.F.C. We follow their journey as they work together to put on a show, and to make their dreams come true - all with a little help from their stimulus packages. Cayden is really looking forward to collaberating with lots of great people, and to see it all come to life. He says It will be a fun and highly rewarding experience for all involved. $TIMULU$ PACKAGE - THE MUSICAL! A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY BY CAYDEN RICHARDS Presented by the Launceston Players, Earl Arts Centre, 17th - 20th August 2011.
