Eurovision

Well congratulations Serbia. It's over for another year and the winner while a glorious singer lacked the over the top glory of Lordi. The big four, France, Germany, Spain and the UK all finished well below the top 14 but all automatically go through to next years final because they put up most of the money. Ireland seems determined never to win again, the band was OK but she couldn't sing and when are the UK going to recognise that putting some half baked novelty song in will never win the title. The UK has apparently won 5 times and I can't remember all of them, there was Sandi Shaw with "Puppet on a String", The Brotherhood of Man, "Kisses for me", Bucks Fizz with "Making your Mind up" and Katrina and the Waves, but who was the fifth. There are no prizes for this just my thanks.
