Back again treading the boards!

Well today we bumped into the George Jenkins theatre and it felt good! It's been a very long time since I'm bumped into a theatre outside of our school hall (just under two years to be exact)so it was a welcome relief to see the curtains and tread on the stage again. We got everything in...started setting up the stage, rearranged the stage as it didn't work out exactly as planned, started working out the lighting and the sound and then performed a tech runthrough. There are still a fair few things we need to achieve in the dress rehearsals tomorrw tech wise. And other things just didn't work out like they had back at the school hall. But I guess that's why we do these things. I can't wait for tomorrow. Full costume, makeup, lighting, sound (hopefully not plastered to my face with elastoplast like today...I swear a chunk of my hair is missing.) It's getting ever closer though as every minute passes and I finally feel as though we're getting somewhere. I love being in the theatre- it's such a fantastic feeling. Sean
