The Western Australian Youth Theatre Company is running a three day workshop for young people aged 15-25 with the focus on solo performance and audition technique. The workshops will be held at the King St Arts Centre on July 8-10 or July 11-13.
Workshop sessions include-Understanding the text for performance, Career opportunities in theatre, Voice effectiveness, Realising the text for performance, Add some music, rhythm or song, Improvisation, Movement and mime and others. The sessions will be presented by well known theatre practitioners including Jenny Davis, Jenny McNae, Monica Main, Tim Minchin, Claudia Alessi and others.
All sessions will be of a practical nature so please dress comfortably.
