The DoggerÂ’s Run is a new play with music written by Geoffrey
OÂ’Connell and script by Drew Tingwell, which follows two seemingly disparate journeys. The first is that of The Dogger played by Phil Sumner and follows his dingo-culling journey along the 5000-mile long dingo fence across Australia. The other follows Trahn and Su, a young Vietnamese couple played by Irving LaBrooy and Marie Ng, who desperately seek asylum in Australia. They are forced to flee an increasingly harsh and violent Communist regime to keep their lives and their dignity. With set design by Kellee Frith and lighting by Cassie Arnold, the play can be seen at Chapel Off Chapel in Prahran starting on Thursday the 21st of June until Sunday 1st of July. Performance times are 8-30pm Wednesday to Saturday and 6-30pm on Sundays.
There will be one preview on Wednesday June 20th at 8-30pm
