Saddle up for a ride into fantasy in this quirky comedy, as five urban cowgirls live out their dreams of a simple Cowgirl life.
Meet Ruby, the head of The Beat; Viola, a woman with spunk; Alabama, the Cowgirl of a million men's fantasies; Lillyana, the dreamer; and childlike Chastity. And when innocent, young Aussie pumber, Doug, stumbles upon their world, things can never be the same again.
Cowgirl Beat is an exciting new script by young West Australian playwright, Jo Hogg, brought to life by Rough Magic Theatre which celebrates it's 10th anniversary this year.
Starring: Camille Reid as Ruby Rose, Kerry O'Sullivan as Viola Clandestine, Kathryn Tonkin as Alabama Stirrup, Heidi Gusterson as Lillyana Fantasia, Sam Bailey as Chastity Bell, and Ash MCLeod as Doug the plumber.
Put on your bandannas, boots, chaps and spurs to dress-up in Cowgirl theme and win prizes on Opening Night Wednesday April 25 (ANZAC Day) and Closing Night Saturday May 5!
