An unforgiving clash of dashed hopes, broken hearts and malice. Welcome to the twisted black comedy that ravishes every preconception you have about music theatre and cabaret and basks in a humour which is young, sarcastic and cheeky.

Mary-Lou Bakerman, a jazz singer from Detroit, spends her aching lonely nights waiting for her missing lover, Hairy Hands. In despair she enlists the help of local Love Detective, Dennis Moon. The case is a mystery until Baby Red Shoes and Ricky Trumpet, a hot new jazz duo, come to town.

Due to an extremely successful season in Perth WA in 2005, Side Pony Productions is bringing MOTOR CITY BLUES to the Adelaide Fringe Festival to showcase their West Australian talent to a national and international arena of spectators.

MOTOR CITY BLUES will be at the Promethean Theatre 116 Grote St Adelaide, from February 25th to March 11th. Tickets $12 concession and $14 full from the FringeTix Booking Line 08 8418 8666 or online at www.adelaidefringe.com.au.
