Shepparton Theatre Arts Group invites you to discover the wonder of their 32nd major musical production, 'Annie'.
Millionaire New York businessman, Oliver Warbucks (Matt Scholten) invites Annie (Flavia Browne), a feisty redheaded orphan to spend time at his mansion over Christmas as a gesture of goodwill.
Free from the clutches of the evil Miss Hannigan (Helen Janke) and the abusive orphanage in which she was raised, Annie discovers a world she never knew and adventures she never dreamed of.
As a gift to Annie, Warbucks raises a nation wide search for Annie's parents offering a large cash reward. However, Miss Hannigan's crooked brother, Rooster (Dale Janke) and his 'dumb-hotel' Lily (Jen Scandolera) hatch a plan to steal Annie back and land the reward as well.
With help from her orphan friends, Annie must discover the ruse before it's too late, all the while playing matchmaker to Warbucks and his Secretary, Grace Farrell (Bianca Fenn).
Featuring well-known songs such as 'Tomorrow' and 'You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile', Annie is sure to entertain both young and young at heart.
Matinee shows on 15th & 22nd at 2pm also.
