AddressOld Mill Theatre, Mends St. South Perth (opp. Windsor Hotel, Mill Point Rd)
Our July/August production will be the comedy, There's A Girl in My Soup. Directed by Noel O'Neill (who is getting to be a popular face around the Old Mill these days)the film version of this very funny play will be well remembered for it's teaming of Peter Sellars and Goldi Hawn in the lead roles.
Robert Danvers ia a 40'ish London food writer, charming and irresistible to women ( at least he think so) whose main preoccupation apart from food is seducing as many young women as possible. That is until he meets hippie Marion, who turns out to be the 'girl in his soup'. she regards his methods of courting to be distinctly old-fashioned. Matters are complicated by her uncouth boy-friend Jimmy.
It's the Generation gap all over again!
Noel has assembled a cast of Old Mill 'regulars together with some new faces to bring you this light-hearted romp.
Note There are two Matinee performances. Sunday July 31 and Sunday August 7, both at 2 pm
Come along and brighten the winter days.
