Setting:
A hotel suite the night before Meg's wedding to James

Brief Synopsis:
Meg gathers with her Mum and bridesmaids for a last night "girls night". Mum is suitably flustered. While Meg calmly approaches the event sure in the knowledge that James is Mr Right and she was right to wait so long. Angela, who married when quite young, has left her family for the night and excitedly relives some "lost youth" moments. Lucy arrives with the unproven suspicion that James may not have been totally faithful. Will she tell Meg? Naomii replaces Lucy as bridesmaid and then James arrives to plead his case. Will the wedding go ahead?

Elizabeth Coleman, a contemporary Australian author, exposes the insanity which often occurs in the organisation of weddings. Set against this backdrop, her lifelike characters address some very important issues in this seriously funny play.
