MR BARBEQUE

Starring Lyndon Terracini as ‘Mr Barbeque’

The barbeque is a metaphor for life; cooking is both savagery and nurturance, preparing food with love feeds the soul. In particular, it’s a metaphor for one man’s life – told from the perspective of a few Sunday afternoon barbeques. He is a wild man in lust with life, unafraid of fat or fire, a hero in his own backyard. A suburban odyssey. ‘Mr Barbeque’ is a human story, comical and whimsical, blessed by sunshine and impossible dreams of happiness.

TerraciniÂ’s astonishing baritone and charismatic performances have won great acclaim and numerous awards around the world. This is an opportunity to see Lyndon Terracini performing with musicians from the Queensland Orchestra. This will be a 'sizzling' night of music-theatre.

Mr Barbeque is a funny and entertaining observation of the great Australian Barbeque.
