The Beauty Queen of Leenane is a black comedy by the award winning young Irish Playwright Martin McDonagh (The Cripple of Inishman) Maureen lives with her aging manipulative mother Mag, in Leenane, a small village in Connemara. When a neighbour offers Maureen her first and possibly last chance for a life of her own Mag's interference triggers off the terrifying conclusion to the play.
Noel O'Neill is well known to the Irish community and is a founder member of the Studio, a Company dedicated to the best in Irish Drama.
Matinee: Sunday June 3rd at 2 pm
NOTE: THERE IS NO PERFORMANCE ON SATURDAY MAY 26.
