Warrandyte Theatre Company would like to invite all interested performers to take part (no audition necessary) in a play reading ofÂ…

Accidental Death of an Anarchist, by Dario Fo

This is a biting satire based on the actual events leading to the death of a young anarchist in Milan in the 1960s. Following the bombing of a bank, a young anarchist was arrested. He later died after 4 days of interrogation having "accidentally" fallen out of a 4th floor window.

Fo is one of, if not the, best known Italian playwrights. Full of satire and farce, Accidental Death of an Anarchist is entertaining and great fun to read.

Warrandyte Theatre Company is looking to stage a production of Accidental Death of an Anarchist towards the end of this year (dates TBA). There will be a brief introduction to the play on the evening, and the reading will give those who intend to audition the opportunity to get to know the Creative Team and the play itself.

There are 6 parts:
- MANIAC: Male
- SUPERINTENDENT: Female or Male
- INSPECTOR BERTOZZO: Male
- CONSTABLE: Female or Male
- PISSANI: Male
- FELETTI: Female or Male

To be held on Friday 2nd September at 8 pm at Warrandyte Theatre CompanyÂ’s own rehearsal and performance space, the:
