Endeavour Theatre Company is performing a pantomime called "Babes In The Wood". This is a classic tale of the two "Babes" Jack and Jill, who are taken into the woods by a pair of rough criminals, Smash and Grab, who have been ordered by the nasty Sheriff of Nottingham to kill the children. However, they are not murderers, and rather than kill the "Babes" they leave them alone in the woods, where they are rescued by Robin Hood and his Merry Men.
Lots of colourful characters, including Dame Trott (the schoolmistress), the Duke of Gisburn (the sheriff's wicked right-hand man), the cheeky Simple Simon, Maid Marion, and Robin Hood and his Merry Men, just to name a few, make this comedy in typical pantomime style a must-see production.
Special matinee performance for the children (and the young-at-heart) on Sunday 17th November at 3pm.
Children under 6 are free, and can sit at the front, in front of the stage.
