“Some shall be pardoned, and some punished…” Following their sell-out season of All’s Well That Ends Well at Fringe World 2012, North Sea Boat Terminals presents another ‘twist on a classic’ in an independent season at the Old Peninsula Hotel, Maylands. Step inside the world of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as the townspeople of a modern day Verona. This just-over-an-hour long version of the classic love story invites you into the life of the star-cross’d lovers in the lead-up to their death and asks… was it just the hand of outrageous fortune? Or could we have done something more? A glorious shambles of live performance, puppetry, and mask, R&J is a shared experience to be treasured.
