This dark and compelling play traces the rise and fall of a man and his wife.
Highly regarded and successful the world is at their feet, until a chance
meeting with three women leads them to discover the blackest depths
within themselves. Driven on by ambition and supernatural advice,
they commit cold blooded murder to gain power. But one murder leads to
another, and yet another, until they find their dream overwhelmed by nightmare.
Class Act Theatre’s stark modern production, examines the desires for position
and advancement that are such a major part of our instant-gratification world;
and paints a stunningly clear picture of the forces within us that can lead a
women into madness and suicide, and ultimately turn a good and decent man
into a cold and pitiless psychopath.
Starring Equity Guild Award 2013 Best Actress Rhoda Lopez and Best Supporting
Actor nominee Nick Maclaine as the Macbeths. Also featuring Shirley Van Sanden, Stephen Lee, Angelique Malcolm, Daniel Buckle, Kyle Sargon and Patrick Whitelaw.
