STAR TREK – "THE TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES" AND "VEXATIONS WITH VULCANS"
Featuring Steve Parker (nominated for the Adelaide Critic's Circle Awards 2005; winner of the Messenger Light Year Awards (amateur section) for best actor in a comedy) as Captain Kirk, Peter Fry as Mr. Spock, Philip Lineton as Dr. McCoy, Tom Fitzsimmons as Scotty and Chris Irving as Chekov.
As any Trekker worth his salt will know, "The Trouble With Tribbles" is a universal favourite from the classic episodes where we see the bridge of the Enterprise invaded by cute, cuddly balls of fur with a propensity to breed and a hatred of Klingons. Scotty gets to defend the good name of "his" ship in a classic fist fight and what begins as a problem of plague proportions actually turns out to be a good thing when a Tribble accidentally becomes the means of detecting a Klingon spy. As usual, all's well that ends well, but we won't tell you how just in case there is one person out there who hasn't seen the little joke at the end!!!!
Trekkers Warning!
This episode may not be exactly as you have seen it before, but the lives of the officers in red uniforms are dispensable and fist fights abound.
Although the cute, cuddly Tribbles were very persuasive, Director Pamela Munt insists that no Klingons were harmed during this production.

VEXATIONS WITH VULCANS
(Loosely based on the classic episode “Journey to Babel”)
Not only do you get two episodes - in this story you get two Vulcans! That’s right – it’s the episode where Spock meets his Father – Sarek.
Ambassador Sarek is one of a number of Official Delegates who are being transported to Babel for a very important council meeting.
Needless to say, the Delegates have their differences that inevitably lead to murder and mayhem aboard the Enterprise, which at the same time is being threatened by an alien invader.
Can Captain Kirk multi-task even when he is wounded? Is playing detective, mediating between two frustratingly logical Vulcans and captaining the ship in the face of hostile aliens too much to ask even of him?
“Interesting”? Come along and find out.
