The Cheapest Hotel In Southern Victoria is set in the unchanged since WW2 Fed-Up and Had-It Hotel, Talangawash.

Each Christmas for the past eighteen years three old friends holiday with the sole intention to keep costs down.

This year, sharing the same non-erotic bed, room-bound by renovations and running low on beer, their friendships are tested, resulting in a quirky and joyously rich comedy full of accusations, surprises and proposed visits from octogenarian girlfriends!

Kieran Carroll (Winner Best Original Production, Melbourne Fringe 2002) brings The Cheapest Hotel In Southern Victoria to the big smokes for simultaneous Melbourne/Sydney seasons beginning in mid-February at La Mama, Melbourne and The Old Fitzroy Theatre, Sydney.

Like Harold Pinter and Jack Hibberd getting into the ring together for a bit of argey-bargey, The Cheapest Hotel In Southern Victoria is going to be a summer hit!
