"A Real Cool Corpse" #125
August, 1982
"A Real Cool Corpse" devised by the cast during rehearsal, with the help of Joan Burrell and Harry Postema. It was loosely based on American mystery detective novels from the 1940's with some reference to local issues. As an audience participant I found the performance to be extremely entertaining with a lot of relevant humour. I particularly remember some of the cast members travelling along in their Altschwager (Volkswagen). A talented cast sang, danced and
ad-libbed their way through for over an hour.
