Garrick Theatre kicks of 2013 with an English Comedy like no other!
Two sisters move to the country in search of peace and solitude after one sisters recent nervous breakdown and the passing of their father. Manor cottage seems the perfect place, just outside of town surrounded by all the beautiful scenery that the English country side has to offer. Its perfect for them.
No sooner do the sisters settle into their new home when their peace and tranquility is disturbed by the police wanting to dig up their yards looking for the dismembered body of the previous tenant’s wife. Things become even more complicated with the arrival of the missing woman's husband who turns out to be the main suspect.
This is a comedy not to be missed well written and with a stand out cast and crew you are sure to enjoy yourself from beginning to end!!
Director Rodney Palmer chose the show after coming across the script in the props room one day. It bought back all the fond memories he had of listening to Kenneth Horne’s work on BBC Cassette’s. With this in mind he has assembled a talented cast and crew that truly get in to the material and create something special!
