You asked for it, and now here it is! The simply sublime James Flynn returns to The Don for our first Monthly Feature of the year with a tribute to OlÂ’ Blue Eyes himself Frank Sinatra.
The show – performed on two nights - features classic Sinatra hits such as That’s Life, My Way, The Lady is a Tramp and New York, New York.
Quick-witted Flynn punctuates the show with anecdotes about the life and the music of the legendary crooner.
The Swinging Lovers Mini Big Band provides the stylish instrumentation for the show. It features some of PerthÂ’s top jazz musicians including Matt Jodrell (trumpet), Mike Nelson (piano), Carl Mackey (sax), Simon Stlyes (sax) and Michael Perkins (drums) among others.
