A Kick in the Baubles

GROUPS are taking full advantage of the fantastic atmosphere on offer and booking on mass for MATES Theatre Society's end of year show, the Gordon Steel comedy A Kick in the Baubles, which opens on Saturday 10th November at the Birkdale School of Arts Hall.

MATES Theatre Society are presenting five performances of A Kick in the Baubles between 10th November and 1st December, and they  encourage groups to take advantage of the theatre-restaurant atmosphere; a licensed bar is available before and after the show, and patrons will be served a light supper at interval.

Audiences can also expect to the thoroughly immersed in the Christmas spirit with the front of house crew from MATES Theatre Society planning some special touches to make the evening special.

A Kick in the Baubles takes a hilarious peak into the life of Frank and Jean Bailey as they prepare for the seasonal invasion of unbearable relatives and obnoxious neighbours.

No matter who you spend Christmas with, or whatever your family structure, you are sure to find something or some of the characters in this play very identifiable.
