Snakes and Ladders

Sunday with SAWT 29th July 2012 at 2.00pm $10.00 entry The Studio Holden Street Theatres Snakes and Ladders by Tony Moore Directed by Ian McGrath. Cast: Rosemary Jackson, Iris Petitt and Joanna Webb Families are difficult. Retired sisters, Charlie and Emily, are having a quiet Sunday evening when suddenly Charlie’s daughter Beth arrives. She’s left her husband and come home to Mum. Her unexpected arrival ends up revealing secrets and lies that have been hidden for years. It’s amazing what can happen when you mix two bottles of wine and an innocent game of Snakes and Ladders. Unfortunately due to a reduction in the number of volunteers we have we will be unable to offer our traditional lunch of hot soup and a roll. We will however be offering an afternoon tea of cakes and biscuits and tea and coffee during the interval. The Bar at Holden Street will also be open before the show (from about 1.00pm) and during the interval.
