Camping Capers Murray Music and Drama Club’s Caravan is a hysterical Australian comedy that we can all relate to. Five best friends, nudging – or perhaps we should say just past – forty take their first every holiday together in a caravan. Pierce, their bachelor friend brings along his latest and very young girlfriend. Stuck in the confined space of the caravan tensions begin to rise! From the minute that nearly everyone cracks their head on the caravan’s low door upon arriving it is clear that this will not be a dream holiday at all! Bad weather, the cramped quarters, and several illicit past indiscretions simmering under the surface soon have the situation feeling less than comfortable. Add in a lack of lighting or hot water in the ablution block, rising rainwater, a flooded annex and an excess of alcohol and this becomes the two week holiday from hell!
