Commencing it's 10th Anniversary celebrations, Melbourne Opera has gathered a magnificent cast for one of the world's most beloved and romantic operas, Puccini's La Boheme.
Featuring top international sopranos Lee Abrahmsen, Antoinette Halloran and Danielle Calder with leading Australian tenor Roy Best and popular baritone Phillip Calcagno, La Boheme is the tragic story of young love in Bohemian Paris. The score features some of the most romantic and moving music in all opera and is an ideal introduction to opera. Melbourne Opera's acclaimed production played to packed houses during its 2007 season: you are urged to book early to secure the best seats.
Sung in English, with the Melbourne Opera Chorus and Orchestra.
