Perth Medieval Fayre

The West Australian Medieval Alliance, proudly presents the Annual Medieval Fayre at the Perth Supreme Court Gardens on Saturday 17th March 2012. A plethora of Perth’s medieval clubs will be on display showing off their various talents including historical European swordsmanship, dark ages combat, renaissance fencing and swashbuckling. The fayre is rich with traditions, full of exciting and thrilling misadventures, storytellers and tales, all set in a time where chivalry, grace and courtesy were a part of everyday life. Wondrous and diverse entertainment, fun, frolic and folly will be the order of the day. Join with the nobles, serfs, Vikings, Saxons, Celts, Knights and Ladies that will grace our lively city. A grand parade will travel through the fayre grounds, delighting all with dancers, merchants, minstrels and everything medieval. It’s more fun than the black death, less strenuous than the crusades. This years fayre has an extra feature - the outdoor premier of the rock opera "Virgin Warrior" Commencing at 5:30 this fabulous show will delight patrons young & old.
