The UWA Pantomime Society Presents "Jack and the Beanstalk", in support of Redkite
All Jack ever wanted to do was work the family farm. But with the village pageant just around the corner, her washed up beauty queen mother has tackier things in mind - the family cow will be sold, a pageant coach will be hired, and Jack will win the grand supreme mega cash prize!
If only she'd asked Jack first. Between her overbearing mother and world-peace promoting dance routines, it's enough to drive anyone to climb a magical leguminous sky plant. This show is audience interactive, and suitable for all ages. Featuring two-person cows, men in dresses, and more half-baked bean puns than you can reasonably handle, you're guaranteed to laugh (well, at least once)! !
Proceeds from the show will be donated to Redkite, so please invite your friends and family; by doing so, you'll be helping support the families of children diagnosed with cancer.
Performances are at the Dolphin Theatre, UWA, at the following times:
- Saturday, 17th December, at 2pm and 7pm
- Sunday, 18th December at 2pm
- Monday, 19th December, at 7pm.
Tickets are $10 for children, concession and UWA guild members, and $12 for adults. For bookings or more information, please email uwapanto@gmail.com.
