Have A Nice Life charts the arrival of new girl Amy to a run-down therapy group in a nameless place. The hapless therapist Patrick, struggles to integrate the newcomer to seven strangers and so begins an hilarious attempt to examine the group’s dark secrets. This new musical comedy, explores the emotional walls we sometimes erect and the consequences of being honest. Conor Mitchell is o¬ne of Britain's hottest young composers, and Have A Nice Life is one of his most performed musicals, having been produced first in Ireland then Berlin, Edinburgh, London and New York. It won Best Score at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2006. The characters take us on their journeys with tears and laughter throughout. Show stopping numbers and heart breaking ballads are the building blocks of this unique musical. It will be performed by Hunter TAFE’s Second year students of the Advanced Diploma Arts (Acting) WHERE: The Playhouse, Hunter Street, Newcastle WHEN: Dec 15, 16, 17 @ 7.30pm Dec 17 @ 2pm Dec 18 @ 5pm TICKETS: $22 AND $18(conc) BOOKINGS/INFO: TICKETEK 4929 1977
