Hiss the villain and cheer the hero! King of the Ice Cream Mountain by J Mundis and E Leonard, is a pantomime style one-act play that is an enchanting romp with hints of Harry Potter.
When King Bumpygruff of the far-off Kingdom of Frozenbrrr cannot find anyone, not physican nor sorcerer, to cure his sore feet, he offers half his kingdom and a knighthood to the one person who can relieve him of his misery. Enter Zeno the evil sorcerer who covets the ice cream mines that are the only industry in Frozenbrrr. But all ZenoÂ’s magic and spells fail in the quest to solve the riddle of the KingÂ’s sore feet. It is Muffles the penguin to the rescue! Which, of course, infuriates the sorcerer, who vows revenge.
ItÂ’s a thrilling combat pitting the wicked Zeno against the innocence of our hero Muffles and the KingÂ’s daughter, Princess Happy.
Children of all ages will revel in the fun and excitement!
