"A densely layered, evocative and richly imagined work ... How rewarding to rummage through Matt Cameron's mind. What a find. A true original." - The Age
Once upon a time, a little girl called Ruby Moon set off to visit her grandma at the end of the cul-de-sac. She never arrived.
Ruby’s parents spiral into suspicion as they search for answers to the haunting mystery. Their bland suburban neighborhood transforms into a tangled web of intrigue. Each local eccentric hides a crucial fragment of Ruby’s story. Once their secrets start to unravel, Flaming Tree Grove will never be the same again.
Writer Matt Cameron brings magic to the stage with this fractured fairy tale from the dark soul of suburbia. Always Working Artists presents this play for Western Australian audiences for the first time in a witty and theatrical production directed by Jeremy Rice.
