Drag is the untold story of a drag queen – of all drag queens – told with high emotion, high energy and hit songs.
Go behind the curtain. You may be expecting a bloke in a frock that lip syncs to the campest music out. This production will take you into the drag realm and show you something else. Something more.
While drag can be a statement of pride, for many it is also a profession, a performing art in its own right. Drag cannot be defined by genre. Drag is a genre mash-up; an entity unto its own.
Producer Ryan Schulz and his cast of many will bring our all-time favourite divas to life, offering up every human emotion you could possibly experience in one short hour.
Trust me, dahling, burlesque is just so passé. Mreow!
