"Like the graces of lady luck and the love of mamma fortune, the sun goes up and the sun goes down. Just don’t go forgettin’, glamour is like gold baby, you can’t never have enough. Come and get it. Come watch the Day turn to Night"
‘Day & Night’ is an original musical written by Gerald Lillywhite (book), James Sweeny (book) and Adrian Kingwell (music). Set during prohibition, illegal club performers Copernicus Leroy Brown and Brandon O’Shea have the world on a string, but just how hard can you pull before the whole thing starts to unravel? What does real life matter when you can live a thousand lives on the stage? And when push comes to shove, just who is left holding the smoking gun?
Premiering at the Dolphin Theatre on the 2nd of May and running till the 7th, The University Dramatic Society is pleased to present ‘Day & Night’ as the first production in the 2011 program.
