Charles Condamine is a writer, happily married for a second time. He wants to make the seance scene in his new book realistic, so he calls in a medium so that he can experience the trickery first hand. Unwittingly Charles finds that he has called up the spirit of his first wife, Elvira, and she is happy to stay. Charles now has to contend with two wives and ghostly possession. He'd just like his life back! Noel Coward wrote this timeless favourite in 1941 and his droll wit has been pleasing crowds ever since. Growl Theatre is happy to present this as our first play.
