Featuring mezzo soprano Suzanne Johnston, tenor Raymond Khong and soprano Alexandra Oke.
Suzanne Johnston is one of Australia's most versatile artists, acclaimed for her performances on the opera, musical theatre and concert stages. Her operatic career spans prestigious European Festivals as well as Australia's major opera companies. Suzanne's repertoire includes many opera favourites, as well as Eliza Doolittle - opposite Anthony Warlow - in the sell-out production of My Fair Lady, and Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance.
Raymond Khong is special guest artist with the Three Chinese Tenors, and is tenor soloist with the Victorian Concert Orchestra. Raymond received a Green Room Award Nomination for Best Singer in a Lead Role for his acclaimed performance in Chamber Made Opera’s world premiere of The Possessed in 1993. Well regarded as a so-called ”crossover artist”. He is a rare operatic tenor who is also able to sing non-operatic numbers in a variety of genres from musicals to modern ballads.
Alexandra Oke, a soprano with a big beautiful voice, has won the Diamond Valley, Warrnambool and Mordialloc Arias, and was a finalist in the 2009 National Liederfest and also in the 2009 Robert Salzer Vocal Championship. She has performed solos in numerous Oratorios and has twice performed as a guest at the Wodonga carols by Candlelight concerts.
The line-up also includes Serendipity and the Diamond Valley Singers and other local performers.
