All is not well in the royal family. The King and Queen are desperate for Prince Charming to be married, but he's not so sure. Undeterred, the Queen hides a pea under a pile of mattresses, with the promise that any princess who can feel the pea will win Prince Charming's hand in marriage. Meanwhile, Charming's precocious and ambitious little brother, Prince Nefarious, is hatching a cunning scheme of his own.
Into this royal ruckus walks Cindy, a down-to-earth commoner. Despite their different backgrounds, romance soon blossoms between Cindy and Charming. But will the King and Queen ever think a commoner good enough for their "special young man"? Will Nefarious' dastardly machinations succeed? Will true love win out, or will Charming be forced into a marriage with Princess Incontinentia of Plempotty? Who will feel the pea?
The only way to find out is to come and join the fun! This is a family friendly event where audience participation is encouraged!
All proceeds from the play will be donated to Redkite, a charity which assists families of children with cancer. We hope you will join us in supporting this most worthy cause.
