"His life reads like a Shakespearean tragedy, alcoholism,abuse,violence,drugs,murder.......Elvis and Johnny Cash were pussycats compared to Jerry Lee Lewis" Jerry's sister Linda Gale
Caravan Music Club is excited to present an edgy musical drama, written by Allen Wilde, based on the controversial life of Jerry Lee Lewis.
The production features Paul Dawber as Jerry,Tracey Miller as Jerry's sister Linda Gale and is directed by Hugh Halliday who once toured the UK as drummer in Jerry Lee Lewis' band.
The play focuses on the inner conflict in Jerry Lee Lewis between his southern fundamentalist Christian background and his propensity for evil deeds.
The very present live music component, directed by Tracey Miller and featuring a full band with Gospel singers, contributes a brilliantly rich and evocative backdrop to the intense dramatic content in The Killer.
"I've been picked on,abused, ridiculed, persecuted and prosecuted but they weren't gonna stop me.
No one tells Jerry Lee Lewis he is finished...No one! Jerry Lee Lewis
