“In a New York Minute, everything can change... ” DON HENLEY
Your life will change forever in the next minute.
Directed in real time and featuring WA’s most fearless performers in an intimate cabaret setting – this is improvisation like you’ve never seen. No games. No teams. No scores.
Inspired by your suggestions, spontaneous characters are crafted, and the strands of their lives are intricately woven together to create a web of hilarity and tragedy.
Director Glenn Hall is one of Australia’s foremost improvisers, with an insatiable passion for unscripted theatre. Together with Musical Director and WAMi award-winning cellist, Tristen Parr and The Triple Threats (Christopher de Groot - piano/keyboard and Callum Moncrieff - percussion), In a New York Minute will captivate.
Each night features a different cast of WA’s most versatile actors, comedians and singers:
Libby Hammer, Craig Williams, Nichola Renton-Weir, Shane Adamczak, Sarah Knight, Ric Cairns, Mel Bennett, Paul Calligan, Eileen Glynn, Courtney Sage Hart, Brianna Williams, Lee Sheppard, Louisa Fitzhardinge, Emmet Nichols and Rhoda Lopez.
A gripping show in two acts – entirely improvised. Hilarious, tragic, intriguing; the journey starts with you, but everything can change... in a New York Minute.
