The Duck House is proud to present its latest creation, Acts of Undressing: the story of three unfascinating women in fascinators.
In this dark, unsettling and bloody comedy three loveless milliners escape their boredom by creating aimless, fashionable, empty accessories. Brought together by their insignificance and insecurity, these women spend their days working on a deadly suntan, their only interests the seagulls they use for feathers and the man who lives in the lighthouse.
The Lighthouse Keeper enters their lives and seduces them with stories of long lost loves. When they finally discover that they are being tricked, the women take to him like a flock of seagulls to a box of hot chips, tearing him limb from limb.
With blood and feathers, burns and songs, these women waste away in their search for a life worth living.
