It's time for Darlinghurst Theatre Company's annual In The Raw Festival, this year featuring seven exciting new productions, and a very special free moved read of Juliet Lamont's controversial Mick Young Play Award-winning, Strange Fruit.
Darlinghurst Theatre Company's annual In The Raw Festival is one important and significant way that DTC promotes the creation and development of new Australian theatre. In The Raw 2005 is a hive of creative energy, as over 100 artists create and premiere an exciting and important festival of new Australian works over three weeks.
There's a little something to appeal to everyone within the In The Raw season, incorporating productions ranging through broad comedy, cabaret, music theatre, and searing, insightful drama - both historical and contemporary.
