A history of drinking is an inventive new show from the mouth of Jeffrey Jay Fowler.
Dissecting mankind's dependance on alcohol; A history of drinking will offer the audience a cocktail menu. Every order placed will be served with a scene. Horror story with your Bloody Mary? Propaganda with your bottled water? Tragedy with your glass of red? Or maybe some nostalgia with your milo? Each night will be a unique adventure through history, stories, statistics and liquor.
Fowler is a writer, director and performer whose previous works include Alaska (performer), Duck, Duck, Goose! (writer/devisor/director), Red Lashes (writer/devisor, UNIMA 2008), The Rusalka Thread (writer/devisor/director), Hope is the saddest (writer/devisor/director, Winner 2008 Blue Room Best Production Award), and Zen's Red Mouth (writer/devisor/director, Winner 2007 Blue Room Member's Choice Award).

"There is so much to like about this production. It's witty and profound in it's simple truth that all life is chaos. See it." - Jan Hallam, The Sunday Times (Hope is the saddest)
"Fowler's writing is beautiful. This is multi-arts with heart." - Varnya Bromilow, The West Australian (Duck, Duck, Goose!)
